Sisters Lenny, Meg and Babe have gathered in Mississippi to celebrate Lenny’s birthday.  Their lives have always been a whirlwind of chaos and crisis, and now Babe has just shot her abusive husband the Senator!  The Pulitzer Prize-winning tragic comedy unfolds as the sisters push and pull each other—and us—to a deeper understanding of what it means to be a family.
