    Steel Magnolias

By Robert Harling • Directed by Richard Robert Bunker

July 9-August 8 Truvy’s beauty salon in small-town Louisiana is the social nucleus for a close-knit circle of women. As they negotiate life’s ups and downs and face their own mortality, their shared bond lets them balance trust and gossip, charm and wit, sarcasm and sincerity, humor and heartbreak. The movie adaptation was the 1989 People’s Choice for Best Picture and got Julia Roberts a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress.

Featuring: Jacqui Herrera • Monica McKey • Catherine Bucher • Analisa Svehaug • Trish Tillman • Hannah Ward
